ACCESS Women's Health Justice
ACCESS Women's Health Justice removes barriers to sexual and reproductive health care and builds the power of California women and girls to demand health, justice, and dignity. Major programs include the Healthline, a bilingual line which connects women and girls throughout California to information, referrals and advocacy on sexual and reproductive health issues; policy advocacy; and community support and action.
Backline is dedicated to addressing the broad range of experiences and emotions surrounding pregnancy, parenting, adoption, and abortion. Their vision is of a society in which pregnancy options are discussed with openness, honesty, and the deepest respect for reproductive justice. Their Talkline offers a free, confidential and nonjudgmental space for people to talk about their experiences. Backline's Talkline Advocates provide unconditional support at any point before, during and after your pregnancy or parenting experience, no matter which options you are considering, what decisions you have already made, or how you feel about it.
Pro-Choice Public Education Project (PEP)
PEP is a national reproductive justice organization that works to engage and inform organizations, young women, transgender and gender non-conforming young people, ages 16-25, especially those whose voices are not heard in spaces where sexual and reproductive health and rights are addressed. They do this through action research, leadership development, movement building, raising unheard voices, and changing the conversation.
